Over the past years, PASSE-AVANT has been taking on many forms – from curating exhibitions and making space for online presentations of artworks to a day-to-day activity of our Radar and the magazine's cardinal flow of textual production. Rooted in Frankfurt am Main and Düsseldorf, PASSE-AVANT holds its focal attention on the regions of the Rhine-Main and the Nordrhein-Westfalen, while also nurturing a national and international resonance.

PASSE-AVANT publishes exhibition reviews, conversations, opinions and other formats of text, sharing critical concerns on artistic and cultural practices. The magazine regularly invites artists to present their work and hosts various cross-disciplinary collaborations.
