Yana Tsegay’s first solo show at MOUNTAINS, titled ‘The Amber Room’, is a sophisticated setup of intricate mentality and deferred abstraction accompanied by a subtle performance. ‘The Amber Room' inspects with arranged layers of organic materials and gestural paintings what one might understand as amberisms.
